NINIS at Balmoral
The NINIS team attended the annual Balmoral show from 11 – 13 May as part of a Department of Finance stand. This provided a great opportunity to showcase the NINIS website to a variety of people and increase awareness of the NINIS and NISRA brand. We had a range of promotional merchandise and ran a competition for a W5 family pass by estimating the population of Northern Ireland. Our infographics proved very popular, with people interested to know what happens to the surveys they complete such as the Census and Agricultural Census. The event proved to be a great success with visitors leaving with an increased awareness and knowledge of NINIS.
A new map has been added to Interactive content showing Settlement Headcount and Household Numbers based on Census 2011 data. Users can select points on the map for details on Population, Number of households and Settlement Band. You can also filter by Settlement Band A-H using the pane on the left hand side.
A number of Census 2011 commissioned tables have been uploaded including:
A list of all standard output tables and commissioned tables from the 2011 Census in Northern Ireland is available.
