The focus of this month’s E-zine is Census 2011 Short Stories
A new 2011 Census Analysis section has been added to the NINIS website and can be accessed via the ‘Census’ button on the top menu bar. Two short stories which include infographics have been added to this section, focussing on Older People and National Identity.
Population Projections
New Population Projections for areas within Northern Ireland (mid-2012 to mid-2037) were published at 9.30am on Thursday 30 October 2014. The dataset containing both single year of age and sex, and 5 year age bands and sex, is available to download on NINIS. Also available is an interactive Population Projections Pyramid. The main focus lies with the new 11 Local Government Districts, but figures are also available for the current 26 Local Government Districts, Health and Social Care Trusts, Education and Library Boards, and NUTS III Areas. Further information is also available on the NISRA website.

Latest year/new data
A number of datasets and interactive maps have been updated with latest year data during October.
Updated datasets include School Leavers, Average New House Prices and Mortgage Cases Received and Disposed.
Interactive maps updated with latest year data include Children in Low-Income Families and Bankruptcy Cases Disposed.
New datasets added to NINIS include Property Repossessions Completed, the corresponding interactive map can be found under the Economy theme, as well as Human Papillomavirus (HPV) Vaccine Coverage, found under the Health and Social Care statistics theme.
